Mitzvah Day – A day for good deeds

Kol Chai members, both young and old, help ‘heal the world’ (Tikkun Olam) on Mitzvah Day and have fun in the process! Last year children made parcels for the charity Goods for Good, decorating boxes for Jewish Women’s Aid, potting bulbs and preparing fruit kebabs for the Haven Care Home, where they also sang to residents. Adults went to West Harrow to pick litter with members of St Peter’s Church and other faith groups, and adults and teenagers helped clear scrub in Croxley Common.
