Kol Chai Friends of Israel

What is it?
Kol Chai Friends of Israel is for everyone who wants to have a better understanding of Israel and related topics.
When do you meet?
We meet about four times a year – usually on a Thursday evening from 8-10pm.
What do you do?
Our speaker programme to date has included such high profile speakers as James Sorene, the Chief Executive of BICOM (The British Israel Communications and Research Centre), Anthony Orkin from the Campaign Against Antisemitism, Luke Akehurst, the Director of We Believe in Israel and also Stephen Pollard, the Editor of the Jewish Chronicle
Our speakers are always generous with their time. Not only do they make time for questions from the audience but they also stay to chat to people over refreshments afterwards.
What are your plans for the future?
Our plans include social events, a talk from the past president of WIZO UK, a speaker from the Israeli Embassy and we are also hoping to arrange a visit from Colonel Richard Kemp, CBE. Please see the Kol Chai Diary for more info.
What does it cost?
You pay at the door on the night. £3.00 if you are a member and £5.00 for non-members – including refreshments.
