Kol Chai seeks to offer Jews a meaningful spiritual life, through Shabbat and festivals, prayer and study. In our services, our comfortable chairs and cosy space surround a central bimah (reading desk) on the same level as the congregation, so everyone feels involved and a warm atmosphere is created.
Attenders are encouraged to improve their Hebrew and to participate in the leading of services. It is not unusual at Kol Chai for twenty or more people to take part in leading a single service.
Access to Judaism
Since its early years, Kol Chai has a tradition of encouraging and welcoming those who wish to become Jewish, and conversions are arranged through the Beit Din of the Movement for Reform Judaism.
Do contact me on rabbi@kolchai.org if you would like to discuss any matter in complete confidence.
