Carry on Learning with Kol Chai
Rabbi Michael Hilton's view is that Kol Chai should enable all adults to further their Jewish education from whatever their starting point and we run a variety of regular classes catering for all abilities and 'one off' events.
A feature of our Adult Education programme is the stimulating talks regularly put on, combining learning with social interaction. People of all ages often join together to enjoy these activities and we also hold gatherings for recent university graduates. The Jewish Talk and Walk, held in and around central London in June, was well attended and we are hoping to repeat this highly successful event in the summer.
The success of our 'Learning to Leyn' course last year was evident by the participation of its attendees in our second day Rosh Hashanah service.
We actively encourage non-Jewish partners to participate in community life. Rabbi Michael runs Sunday morning classes for those interesting in converting or furthering their knowledge.
